The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 will be available for purchase next Friday, Sept. 18. It’s a great … device. But what kind of device? That’s a little harder to explain.

Of course, it’s a foldable device. But if glitzy foldable phones like the Razr from Motorola or Samsung’s own Z Flip series caught your eye, then the Fold2 probably isn’t what you’re looking for. Neither is it a smartphone. Or a tablet.
